As you make decisions on how to worship, here are three ways we are encouraging you to be part of the Morris Free Church family:

  1. Stay home and worship with your Morris Free family online as we stream the service.
Check our Facebook page for the new link. Service will stream at 10:30a on Youtube.
  2. Invite a small group to a Morris Free Church watch party in your home.
  3. Attend an in-person worship service at Morris Free Church
  4. ***At this time masks are required for in person services per MN Mandate 20-81.
    Service times are:
  • 8:30a Traditional
  • 10:30a Contemporary

united again

If you choose to attend an in-person worship service, we are committed to complying with health and safety guidelines to make every effort to protect our gatherings.

During worship gatherings, our building will be limited to the current CDC occupancy guidelines. We also plan to have defined arrival and dismissal patterns, ongoing sanitization in all areas, and an adjusted seating plan to accommodate additional spacing.

Please be seated per row by household and allow for social-distancing practices with other groups or individuals.

***Masks are required based on the guidelines of MN Mandate 20-81 effective July 25th.

Morris Free is committed to the health of our community and will scale our gatherings and building usage in compliance with the Minnesota Department of Health and CDC guidance to support efforts in bringing this pandemic to an end

Will Morris Free Church Online still be available?

We encourage you to continue to attend online if you or a family member doesn’t feel well, or if you’re just not ready to attend church at our physical location. You’re part of the Morris Free Church family no matter where you choose to attend! Find upcoming and past Sunday services on YouTube here.

What about kids and youth activities?

Kids ministry will be launching a hybrid model for the fall starting 9/16. Students will meet in person once a month on Wednesday evening and the rest of the month verses and weekly activities will be run online. Please call the office for more details.

Wednesday night Bridge 56 and Thrive Youth activities will resume in-person gatherings Wednesday 9/16 and we plan to run every Wednesday night in person like a normal school year.

Are you requiring or recommending that people wear masks?

We are requiring the use of masks in accordance with MN Mandate 20-81. Unless you have an underlying health condition masks will be required any time you are inside the building.

Will temperature checks be required?

At this time, we are not requiring temperature checks.

What about those who are considered more vulnerable or caring for those who are?

If you’re vulnerable for any reason we are encouraging you to remain home. If you have any symptoms of sickness or have been around anyone who has shown symptoms, we ask you to remain home from the church building for at least 14 days.

What We’re Doing:

  • Additional hand-sanitizing products will be placed throughout the building.
  • All Morris Free services will be as touchless as possible and all high-volume areas will be thoroughly sanitized between services.
  • The Nursery and Discovery rooms will be unavailable, however we will have space available for nursing mothers just off the Lobby in a private room.
  • No offering baskets will be passed. Instead, there will be an area in the Lobby for those who want to give in person. We recommend online giving in this time – morrisfreechurch.com/online-giving
  • To reduce touchpoints, registry books, pens, children’s bags and other shared book items will not be available in seating areas. Connect with us digitally at morrisfreechurch.com/forms/connect and remember to bring your own Bible or App device!
